A Mixed media page for the Divine Bible Verse Challenge. I have been memorizing verses throughout the year, especially during our Soccer/Bible camp in the summer, but I haven't been inspired to do any mixed media pages since April. This is also for this week's MIX144 challenge, to use fall colours, which I feel I have used in abundance, reds, oranges, yellows and a touch of green. I started out dropping acylic paint in various colours and then brayered them. Then I dropped a bit of the liquitex modelling paste on a plastic lid and shaved a bit of yellow gelatos into it. I used a small honeycomb stencil to apply some yellow to the page. After it was dry, I used the stencil to directly apply some green gelato to the page. However, I didn't like how it looked so I shaved it off and just scraped some of the crumbs into the paper. I used my finger to go over the stencil in the lower right and got the effect I wanted. I used a bit of dp in yellow to die cut the rectangle and I stamped the verse on another piece in red ink. I still need to memorize this verse.

Oh, wow, Ina! Love the techniques you used! Can't wait to get back to my craft room! Beautiful way to showcase your verse, and I really like that color combo!
