I was inspired by the ornament in the holiday catalog. Thank you, SU! This card has holly on it, so it will also be attached to the Watercolor Wednesday Challenge, which is "anything goes with holly." You can see this challenge here: http://watercoolerchallenges.blogspo...ith-holly.html
I really loved the process of making this card. The holly branch was first stamped on the naturals white card base, then the holly was colored with markers, and finally the aquapainter came in to smoosh things around. The ornament stamp was inked up in tempting turquoise then a little night of navy was applied directly on top of the tempting turquoise to give it a shadow. To finish it off, I added some gold specks, added the gold ribbon and added the sentiment.
Thanks for looking. Susie

What a pretty way to use the holly, Susie. Having it as the background for that lovely ornament adds so much interest to your card, especially with the added splatters from the Gorgeous Grunge set. Love it! Thanks so much for joining us this week for our Watercooler Wednesday challenge.

Wonderful CASE of the catalog Miss Susie. Nice to have the details too. The aquapainter swoosh really makes the holly stand out beautifully. Thanks for joining the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge.
