I made this card for today's Hope You Can Cling To challenge by using the thumping technique on my flower. It was first stamped with Pretty in Pink then I lightly "thumped" Rose red ink on it with a sponge dauber. I used a paint brush to put a pink border on the edge of the top layer, so it also fits the WTUI brush challenge.

I always forget about thumping and how effective it looks. The brushed border makes a lovely frame for the flower. I always love that image, makes me think of quilting and applique.

I have got to check out this thumping method. I have now seen it on a couple of cards and have no idea how it is done. Beautifully done on this stunning flower.
