This is for Andi's HYCCT challenge for Kids - Mom's Faves. These cute critters were colored by my youngest DD when she was around 9 years old. I am amazed that she instinctively colored with blue and orange which are complementary colors and as a result of her choice, I used those colors for my card. Her coloring medium was colored pencils. She decorated a lot of images that I stamped for her, so that we could make cards for the family and it would be from both of us. She colored so many that I never used them all. It's awesome to now use these special critters for this card drive. I know my DD (now 16 yrs - how time flies!) will love knowing that her efforts will help to make someone's birthday a little brighter during a difficult time. I used inspiration from the Sketch Challenge to help with the design. Although there are different dimensions and an oval to accommodate the images (instead of a circle), the basic design is there. The oval is popped up. For Mom's Faves, doing crafts with my kids and helping others are two of my most favorite things! Thanks for looking. I hope you're enjoying the Sketch Challenges each week and the HYCCT challenges during October.

That is so sweet! What an awesome way to do the challenge! And what a cute card! I still have this set. Love it!
