In most cases during times of crisis, a person will first turn to their family for support and strength. I chose to create a 'family portrait' for this challenge.
If you're not familiar with this family stamp set from SU, it consists of mix-n-match body parts (heads, bodies, arms, feet, etc.) that you stamp separately to create your people. So there I was cutting out all of these little separate body part masks - good thing I am a lover of fussy cutting ! Of course this is an old wood mount set, not clear, so you can imagine how much fun lining up the parts was. The older boy had a growth spurt - I stamped his head too high and had to extend his neck to connect him to his body LOL! Then on top of it all, when I finished stamping and was ready to start coloring, I remembered that I used die ink instead of Stazon. As expected the black smeared when I tried to color mom's face, so I had to start all over! It went much quicker the second time, though, since I already had my masks cut out
Despite all my adventures, I really had fun creating this card and am pleased with its outcome. TFL!

Maria,
I very much enjoyed viewing your family portrait in all it's splendor and beautiful colors. However, I totally laughed as I am reading your description of what it took to make this card!! Laughing because I think you need to be a writer, you are so funny talking about what you did to those people images!! I totally loved it!!
Keep up the great work, almost at the end and you are doing an amazing job!!
