This is my card for Jacqueline's HYCCT1507 challenge "Trash Cancer" - to participate in my challenge by using the word T-R-A-S-H to include elements in your card that begin with each letter.
T - tree
R - red, rhinestones
A - "apples" (Okay, I might have stretched this a bit)
S - sentiment, sponging, sky, script
H - hills
I began the image layer by sponging a cloudy background before adding the other elements. The hills were all cut from the same dp, then sponged to add depth and color. I adhered the tree and added lots of red gems for apples. Birds in flight complete the scene, which was attached to the base with Sookwang tape.
Thanks to my MISTI tool, I was able to get a clearly stamped sentiment in the textured dp - I think it was stamped four times.
As always, thanks for looking!

Excellent. Love, love the apples. The rolling hills are great and I love all the die-cuts you put together to make this beautiful scene. Nicely done for the challenge. Thank you for supporting HYCCT with your tree-mendous card.

Jody,
I love the rolling hills that hold the beautiful tree! The gem stones are perfect for little apples, and seeing them on the ground makes this scene even more real!! Beautifully done!!

What a wonderful card for HYCCT, where miracles, even little everyday ones, are so special. That flight of birds, I want to fly away with them. Beautiful pieced foreground, I love that type of card.

Wow! This doesn't look "trashy" at all. I love seeing all the different elements people have been coming up with - all so different. Great card. Thanks so much for playing in my trashy challenge and for participating in HYCCT!
