I applied 3 different distress inks to wc paper and spritzed. Then I used a paintbrush to create an ombre effect. I added a few highlights with a silver gel pen and also painted iridescent medium on the moon, greeting, and the woman's cloak. Of course you can't see it in the picture. This is also for the IC challenge..I chose this illustration as my inspiration.

Wow! Polly, this is awesome. I thought about doing something with a man in the moon but there was so much I liked, I forgot and moved on to something else. You did a fabulous job with your inspiration.

Great way to do the ombre effect, Polly! Does this only work with distress inks or can it work with a water base dye ink too? Beautiful framing for this scene~

Soo interesting with the woman instead of the cabin! Great job with the ombre in blues, and I love that moon!!!

what a beautiful illustration you chose Polly - your wonderful stamp gives the same visual impression - love the touches of yellow with the moon and label!
