For this challenge I chose rain. I do not like rain at all. And for this card I sponged bashful blue on the bottom, then I sponged brocade blue a bit higher. Then I sponged Going Gray and Finally Basic Gray. I sprinkled the paper with water and when it dries it looks like RAIN!! And the flowers...because flowers don't grow without rain. Loved this challenge.

The background is amazing and it does depict rainy, stormy skies. I like your idea to include flowers because the rain helps them to grow. The polka-dot ribbon is a lovely touch. Beautiful card. TFS

Ohhh brocade blue!! How I miss that color! Love your splashy background and the sort of moody feel - captured my feelings about rain for sure. Beautifully done.
