This card is for Ann's HYCCT challenge, to take a piece of DS paper and "strengthen" it by adding embellishments, coloring, etc.
I took the challenge quite literally and started with a piece of Tim Holtz Tissue paper. I love this stuff, but have used very little of it! I brushed Ranger Multi Medium Matte on a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Mixed Media cardstock, and carefully glued the tissue paper down, and smoothed it out. When it was dry, I covered the surface with Gesso, and again left it to dry.
When it was ready, I colored various areas with Gelatos, and then used a baby wipe to move the color around. Finally, I tied it up with a bow (OK, a knot, really), and mounted it with dimensional tape onto a Soft Sky card base.
Talk about strengthening! When I was finished with it, that tissue paper was stiff!

Barbara,
Wow, you really rocked my challenge!! This is wonderful, I think I am tired from all the steps you took on this card! But the outcome is gorgeous!
Thank you so much for making a card sample for my challenge!
