My painting began as an ATC that I die cut from Scor-Dies Basics B set. I finger painted with craft paint as that is all I have right now except for one white acrylic tube. I added a bit of texture with texture paste, mixing yellowand red paint then tapping it on with my finger. After the color dried I mixed a bit of the white acrylic paint to the texture paste and lightly dabbed the bits of white. I used a stencil I made from a tree branch to paint bare lines of the tree then with a paint brush I added more depth.
This is also a little sneak peek of a HYCCT challenge for later next week. I can't say what the challenge is but play along with us during HYCCT and then you will see!

Angie, you totally achieved the vibrant colors of the artist, and by the way you are an artist too! Impressed with your painting...resembles oil painting. FAV"D

Oh, Angie, first of all, so glad you got to paint while the kids are at the church retreat! So nice for you, and wow!! Wow, is this gorgeous and a perfection inspiration card for the painting. Linda is right that you are an artist! Stunning, my friend! Hugs!
