My card is for Ann's Hope You Can Cling To challenge today, to amp up some designer paper. I find that tea and coffee cups are among my favorite things to draw, and I love doing these negative drawings - I drew the outline of the tea cup, and then colored around the outside of the outline with blue grey Touch markers. I added some shading and highlights to the cup image with pencils, and then brushed in some steam with white all-purpose ink (that has a little pearly sheen to it - so pretty).

Wow upon wow! This is amazing. It is such a clever idea. It's one piece of designer paper, but it doesn't look like it. Your teacup is beautiful. Love the pearly white steam. Into my favs. Thanks for such a gorgeous card for HYCCT and Ann's challenge.
OH, Wow!!! I love tea cups and I love this paper! When I first saw this I thought that die cut the cup then added steam to the background paper but in looking at it closer and reading your description I am realizing that this is all ONE sheet of paper. You are so amazing. The cup really has a 3D look with the wonderful shadowing. I love your swirls of steam! They look so wispy!!! I have this paper and love it!
