Now that this has arrived I can safely upload it. It doesn't look much like a birthday card (which it is), though I made it as welcoming as possible by adding a warm glow in the doorway and windows - the party with all the balloons is inside.
I used a gingerbread house die which I converted into a little "tree house" in the woods for this owl. All the green parts were stamped with IO Greenery before die-cutting. The background came from my box of spares, so I can't remember all the inks I used on it. For the base, I just stamped leaves all over in suitable autumn colours. I added a little spiral of smoke coming from the chimney (it's turning cold here), and Stickles round the edges. I added some punched and die-cut foliage with a leaf brad and some pearls in each corner of the main panel.
The little owl is from DeNami, fussy cut to stand in the doorway welcoming visitors to her birthday party.

This must be going to an owl lover, and what a sweet card it is!! Love the woodgrain house and trim against the embossed twig BG!! What a difference the stickles make to edge the entire frame before adding the greenery and leaf brads!!
