Just getting started on my Christmas cards and wanted to share this one...
I cut layers of kraft card and Paper Studio DP, then smaller squares of black cardstock and Pink Paislee DP, wrapping ribbons around all the layers before adding them to a black card base.
I stamped the image onto watercolor paper and used a combination of watercolor pencils and distress ink to color it, then cut it out using a Spellbinders Octagons die. I then created a frame from kraft card using the same die and the next size smaller and colored it with a silver paint pen. Cut a piece of acetate to fit the frame and attached it, then added foam tape around the edges, poured in a few red, green, and clear mini beads from my stash, and added the stamped panel.
I attached the shaker element to my card front and added in a bow and some pearls to finish, then lined the inside to match.
