What a fun inspirational site. This is the one that inspired me to-day. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/481322278904087774/ . Some years ago a friend and I gave a talk on 'edible flowers' to our local Horticultural Society. I was amazed just how much those 'old dolls' trusted us because they grazed through our samples like nobody's business! I wouldn't have trusted us! LOL This photo reminded me of that event! We all remember that very large collection of Prima Flowers we accumulated a while back. Well...some fell on my floor while I was rooting for something else so I thought...must be a sign! LOL I used my most favourite folder Swiss Dots from cuttlebug and a new one from Memory Keepers. The greeting is an 'always go to' from Cheery Lynn and the scalloped circle is by Spellbinders.

So lovely, Sue. I really enjoyed reading your write-up about your presentation. I knew of crystallized rose petals and violets and a friend throws nasturtiums into her salads, but I bet you know of a LOT more that are edible. Back to your card.........love your combination of EFs and the lovely flowers accenting the circle.

Love the purple...that bg embossing is really great for your flowers. I think you're right about the Primas being a sign...that works for me too many times..whatever is in front of me or catches my attention. Your inspiration piece is so pretty as is your card ;)

What a lovely card... it reminds me of a teacup in my bone china collection. Fantastic ef for the bg...I just never think to use mine. The off center circle with the rim of flowers is so sweet and delicate. Into my favs.

That must have been a fascinating talk, I would very much have enjoyed it. And a lovely card, too; your 'old' flowers look fresh and well within their 'best before' date with your crisp, clean presentation of them.

Don't you love it when you find something in your stash that you forgot you had! We just moved and I just got my craft room set up so I am doing that a lot lately! Your card is lovely! Such happy little flowers! Wonderful embossed background!
