This is a card for special SIL, who appreciates a good wine! I thought the image on the cocktail napkins I used to create this card was perfect.
I first separated the layers of two napkins and cut scrap cs layers to size. I ran the cs layers through my Xyron. The top layer of the image was adhered to the appropriate cs layer and trimmed from one napkin. The second card layer was created the same way from the second napkin, but has a layer of vellum over it. The back layer of the card was created from the middle napkin layer. I matted everything with purple cs and attached to the card base. The top layer is adhered with foam tape for dimension.
I cut two leaves, one from gold metallic paper and one from gold vellum. I sponged a bit of Dusty Concord Distress ink over the metallic piece and Peeled Paint over the vellum, then layered them over the leaf in the napkin design. I added the sentiment sticker and wound gold metallic thread around and under the leaves.
As always, thanks for looking!

Got a twinge of guilt since I still have not unwrapped the napkins I brought home from TX, but highly doubt I could do something as creative with them as YOU did!!
This is such an intriguing use of paper napkins and all the goodies you have on hand to couple with them. Love the vellum leaves with just a touch of color and the wrapped gold thread to give it some extra "umph"! Well done, Jo!
