Needed a birthday card so thought I'd play along with this week's Color Throwdown Challenge (Navy, Yellow and White).
This pretty IO BG stamp was still on my desk, so inked it back up with Versamark on a panel of Whisper White and white embossed it. Used emboss resist technique with Hero Arts Navy dye ink, using a microfiber cloth to remove the excess from the embossing.
Cut panel slightly smaller than A2 size and cut bottom at an angle and added a shimmery yellow border. Matted to a panel of Bazzill Diamond c/s and attached to card base.
Stamped SU butterfly in Hero Arts Butter and overstamped with the dots in Navy. Covered wings with clear Wink of Stella and added 3 pearls for the butterfly's body. Attached to card front. Used small pieces of pop-dots near body to raise wings while still allowing them to be open at the outside edges. Adhered to card front.
Stamped my sentiment in Navy and called it done.
TFL!

Your eb resist is gorgeous with the pretty background stamp and navy and white colors. Love the splash of yellows, angled cut and butterfly too. TFS Debbie.

How pretty!!!! I love the white embossing on the navy in the background (I thought it was patterned paper at first) and the butterfly is the perfect detail!!! Thanks for playing along with us at the Color Throwdown Challenge!!!

You know I looked at your card before but somehow neglected to comment. I have this bg stamp and have not come up with a good design yet. THANK YOU FOR THIS FRESH AND PRETTY card for me to case, Debbie!
