I just love the doodling-look and the colors. I changed the colors to ocean colors, changed up the images, and added some fishing gear (from an old tackle box I bought at a Garage Sale yesterday - it has all kinds of fishing stuff I can use as embellishments - lol).
I saw this really cool bg done by Loll this week - here is her card:
I watched her video and loved the way her card came out. Oddly enough, I had no saran wrap so I used parchment paper. I also mixed liquid pearls and some SU! Shimmer Paint - wow the effect is so awesome when you look at it from the side.
This also first the current Fan Club Theme of Doodles and Dots - I stamped dots on the edges of the sentiment and all throughout the ocean.
This card is going to our preacher who is an avid fisherman - he is going to flip over it!
Thanks Alex and Loll - you both are such inspiring crafters!
Hugz!!!!

Just had an avid fisherman marry into the family. Will have to keep this in mind! Got lots of tackle boxes sitting around here that haven't been near the water in years. :-) I love that background. The shimmer you describe must look wonderful in real life. I can see a little of it even here. Great card!

Outstanding fisherman card, Nancy. I love your background and the super yard sale finds. Your pastor will flip over this card, for sure.
Hope you got my email. It's important.

Wow...amazing work of art Nance. I love how you were inspired by Alex and Loll, but made this card all your own :-) Loved your added dots and tackle embellishments. I bet saran wrap is on your next trip to the grocery store. BTW, sandwich bags work too. TFS and playing along with the Dirty Girls this month.
