It's been over a year since I with uploaded a card, and just that long since I made one. I guess I needed a break!
BG is part of a Gelli print I made using acrylics. I used my Scan and Cut to fussy cut my butterfly, sun and flowers, and then sprayed them all with Red Lead Artisan ink. Shading was done with acrylic paint.
It was good to take a break, and nice to be back. I've missed all my friends here on SCS!

Welcome back! So good to see you creating again! That gelli is awesome! Love the gold coloring on the stamps. It really makes them pop against your background!

I'm glad that you enjoyed your break and that it wasn't because of ill-health or anything like that; it's lovely to see you back. That gorgeous gelli-print looks full of rich autumn colours, I almost feel I can smell the slightly dank damp smells of a forest clearing full of little mushrooms. It's a great foil for the strong yellow.

Now you're making me want to get my gelli plate out again....haven't done anything with that in ages! Wonderful warm colors on this and your choice of elements is lovely done in yellow. Oh and that bit of a torn book page is clever.... SO happy to see you in the gallery!!
