I was inspired by this pretty tea stained mixed media piece from today's inspiration site. I took one of my pounded leaf prints and fussy cut it. I then used a versamarker to go over the veins in the leaf and then embossed with clear ep. I then started the tea staining soaking the whole leaf, drying then adding spatter and drying before adding some more! I did the same with my ship's log page. I tore the edges and curled them a bit adding tea to the back side of the curl as well. The black piece is distressed and the print dp is crumpled and sponged and rolled. I sponged the edges and also rubbed a bit of gold Pearl Ex around. The sentiment piece has tea staining as well as stamped spatter. I stamped a bit of spatter on my leaf too. I had originally used a large Kraft base for my card but ended up cutting it down and using a black base. All my spatter is tea painted onto my spatter stamps and stamped. I did use a Versamarker to embosse one spatter. After I glued my burlap piece down I had liquid glue showing through so I added the Espresso ep to that and embossed as well. After I'd laid out my collage I took a Bronze Sharpie and flicked it hard to add some spatter around the pieces. A few of the pieces are popped.
