I made this card for fellow SCSer, Marie-Alice (Ladybug91743.) She was the recipient of last week's MMTPT367 Teaparty challenge cards. I used last week's CC543 colors (Bermuda Bay, Basic Gray, subbed Kiwi Kiss for Lucky Limeade) and the current FS127 sketch challenge. Marie-Alice needs encouragement and cheer as she is going through a very rough time and has a long road to travel before a hopeful complete recovery. God be with her.
I stamped my bird, water colored it and fussy cut it out. I stamped the card base with my IO roses bkgrd in SU kiwi kiss. I then stamped the bird onto the card, added my fussy cut bird body. I die cut an MFT cover frame, stamped it with my IO wood bkgrd stamp. I tore part of it off to keep the bird in the open. Next, I stamped and tore out the PS sentiment (more words stamped inside), inking the edges and attached it to my card. I hope it brings Marie-Alice a smile and encourages her.
Thanks for looking!

Gabby, what a wonderful card using your Crazy Birds and love the one you chose for your sentiment. His eyes are so sincere! Your background is awesome!

Oh wow Gabby, this is terrific. I keep scrolling back and looking at this. I love all the elements, from the background to the framing, sentiment and not forgetting your wonderful big bird. Alice is sure to love this.

This is so lovely, Gabby. It makes me think of country cottages in the summer, with old-fashioned floral wallpaper and sunshine streaming in through the window.
