Firstly, credit to Julia Carmichael. I CASE'd her card here: http://www.paperintolove.com/stampin...day-card-1560/
I love Julia's layout and that this would lend itself well to being a quick card to pull together.
I did all my 'image' stamp on a single piece of CS and then punched out the areas to use for the card. Each layer of CS in this card is on a slightly smaller piece of fun foam. Each stamped-mini image is adhered to a smaller piece of fun foam; that is adhered to a slightly larger square of CS with a slightly smaller piece of fun foam underneath (then adhered to the card front).
I prefer the fun foam over dimensionals because the entire surface is supported. Elevated CS elements will not deform due to lack of support in areas.
I prefer my ATG (adhesive transfer gun) to adhere fun foam. I've not experienced any adhesive failures between the fun foam and ATG adhesives.

Such a sleek looking card! It is just Beautiful with the blue!!! Thanks for the great tip about the fun foam...I'm often heard grumbling about the dips in some of my cards. This will be a game changer. tfs
