You have to be a Texan, I think, to understand how the colors creep into your soul during a Texas twilight. Because the sky does come all the way to the ground. The colors are unexplainable and almost unimaginable where the earth meets the sky. I amazed myself and somewhat captured it with the brayering on this card.
...and so with that, I am signing off from another fabulous year of the Dare to Get Dirty challenges. My favorite week of the year. Thank you, Lydia, and thanks to all the dirty girls for making it another fabulous year. I think you outdid yourselves this year with making the challenges unique and fun!
Lydia, thank you especially for making the final challenge one where I could do my traditional DTGD sign off--a nighttime house scene where you can see the lights are still on because someone is up stamping! Good night, John Boy!
This is another sneak peek from the 2015 SU 2015 Holiday Catalog! Love that Sleigh Ride Edgelits set! It's good for SO MUCH MORE than Christmas! The fir/pines/cedars and sentiment are also from a sneak peek set!
I did something I've never done before and brayered on watercolor paper. LOVE the texture it gave, and it took the ink like a charm!

Oh my - another one into my favourites . This reminds me of Greek sunsets, which certainly are unlike anything we get here even when beside the sea. I noticed the texture - I love it too!
