This is for Anna's DTGD15SweetMissDaisy challenge and it also qualifies for my DTGD15kittie747 challenge. I think these are the cutest ducks. I cut the legs off of most of them so I could make them appear to be swimming in Old McDonald's Pond.
I sponged in the water, sky and grass area. I filled in the grass with the fern stamp from the retired SU Watercolor Minis and then sketched in a few tall weeds to soften the background. I cut a large portion of the Tree Frame off so I could make it fit in the scene without taking over the whole pond area. I added leaves by cutting sections off of several of the Leaves and Stems and attached in the tree branches with glossy accents. I added tiny flowers to the branches as well as to the remaining sections left from the tree branches and tucked them in around both sides of the frame to soften. I wish I had some stale bread to feed these guys.
I hope you are a Fan Club so you can join us for all of the fun challenges. Not a Fan Club member yet? Click here for more information on how to join.

Oh, oh, oh - this has put such a BIG smile on my face. I can spend hours watching the little mallard ducklings on the canal and in the park, so I can just imagine how much fun it would be to be able to jump into this beautiful sweet scene in real life.

Wow - this is wonderful!!! I love the way you did the grass - I favorited this so I could come back and study it more - looks like you used that wonderful stamp set you designed (I love it and have used it a million times). This pond scene is really special. Hugz
