For today's Technique Challenge Joan wants us to fussy cut. Consider it done! It may be strange, but I love to fussy cut. This is also for Anne's Dare to Get Dirty Challenge. For all the details go to the DTGD Forum ..but you'll need to be a Fan Club member. It's sooooo easy, so take the DARE!
The coffee cup was stamped, masking as I went, 3 times using 3 different inks. The 3 colors of twine were wound around the brads to make it look as if the cups are hanging from the twine. The black cup was stamped, color added w/ Copics & fussy cut to add on top. After die cutting the panel, I edged it in green using a Copic marker. I added a narrow black layer then die cut the largest layer. The image at the very top was also colored to match & fussy cut.
Thanks so much for looking! Closeups are on my blog: The Write Stuff

Super cute and fun card, Julie. I really like your "hanging" cups.

Very creative stamping and masking Julie! Pretty way to pull in all the colors of the mugs with your layering, twine and even the banner on top! Thanks for playing in my DTGD challenge this week!!
