Meet Dee Dee Bootsenfritz and her kitty sidekick Hans Boot. She lives in a tiny town in southern Utah called Tropic and works on the Campbell farm where they grow carrots, clover, celery, basil and broccoli ... all the veggies that bunnies could want. She loves her life in this quaint, county town and her kitty, Hans Boot. And then ... there is her love affair with her BOOTS! Oh, yes. From garden to hiking to Chukka to work, to western to Chelsea to polo to motorcycle ... she has them all! In her closet you will find tall, short, knee-high, fashion, rain, winter, fall, booties, designer, ankle and flat. There are striped, polka dotted, flowered, lacy, pink, purple, orange, faux suede, snake, crocodile and leather. They tie, zip, snap, button, lace, and more. WHODATHUNK there were SO many kinds of boots??
Dee Dee had only one problem. Her closet was overflowing with boots and she desperately needed money to add another BIG closet to her burrow. Working on the farm was great but she needed to earn more money for that closet. But what, where, how? One afternoon on a work break, as she lay basking in the sunshine, enjoying a freshly picked, crunchy, juicy carrot, she got a brilliant idea ... .
Hope you will join us in reinventing one of your stamps and that you'll tell us a story, too!
Thanks for looking!

I burst out laughing the minute I saw this card..the laughter continued as I read your fabulous (but too, too short) story....I didn't want it to end. I love your Miss Dee Dee and her kitty (in appearance and their names) and I had no idea there were soooooo many type of boots!! Terrific card, story AND Teapotter challenge my friend.

I'm with Susie about the story being too short ;-), I really want to know what Dee Dee's great idea is! I always love your sponged backgrounds, Gabby. Dee Dee looks great, I wouldn't have the patience for lacing up those knee-high boots myself. And Hans is
..hmm, cute isn't quite the word, but I like him. The enamel dots in the flowers look as if they would make great studs on a pair of Dee Dee's boots!

Hee Hee Gabby! This is hilarious! Love the pop of yellow behind the main adorable image! Then there is how you framed the three flowers which is very imaginative! I too, want to know what DeeDee decided to do to earn more money - I hope it is good and honest! Anyway this is a GREAT card! It is glad to see you did a marvelous story to go with your great challenge! Well done my friend! tfs
