Happy Tuesday.. Barbara gave us some lovely colours to use this week. Rose Red, Mint Macaroon, tip Top Taupe and desert option is Ribbon. I don't have the new colours of Mint Macaroon or Tip Top Taupe - so I tried to get as close as possible. I coloured the back of my flower stamp with rose red ink and green marker and spritzed the stamp. stamped it on to water colour paper. Next I stamped over top of the image with a background stamp from the "You make me Happy" set - Lots of miniature dots - using a taupe colour. Then I spritz the paper. Let dry and cut out with spellbinder. Stamped on the sentiment. I matted the image with two different size die cuts. I edged each of the die cuts with a gold metallic marker. I had the butterfly already made and in my stash - waiting to be used. Added the miniature pearls. I purchased some Ranger Texture Paste last month and have been wanting to try it. I cut a piece of kraft card stock - placed my stencil overtop and then applied the texture paste - let dry. I put the stencil back in place and sponged on Rose red ink. Removed the mask and then stamped overtop with the dotted background stamp using taupe ink. I cut a piece of green patterned paper on and angle. Matted the papers with vintage rose card stock. Sewed around edges. Added the ribbon. Popped up the image panel.
Finished the inside of the card.
This also works for last weeks Free 4 All - lets see your corners - I rounded the two upper corners.
Thanks for looking.
Hugs..Pat

Aha. texture paste. I thought at first you cut out all those shapes, then glued them in place. I thought that must have taken ages! After reading, I found out that was not it at all! Looks great as a bg for those pretty panels, and of course I love your stitching. Hugs.

Oh, my, Pat, such a lot of work went into this gorgeous card, and it shows. I love using embossing paste, and love how you embellished it. A sweet and restful sympathy card.
