This was an off cut of a mixed media background I had created a few weeks ago. I added a gel matte medium and some butterfly glitter stencils. It was a little bright so I toned it down with some black matte gesso through a TH stencil. It then needed a focal point to I added some flowers from a fee stamp set I got in creative stamping magazine (awesome set BTW). I love to texture the flowers and give them more of a 3D look so I stamped and coloured a second layer of the flower only and shaped it. Finally I used a blue and yellow pearl pen for the centre of the the flowers for some texture and a clear pearl pen for the water on the petals and leaves.
Kittie Caracciolo has some awesome flower shaping techniques on her blog http://kittiekraft.typepad.com/
Finally for the challenge I pulled out my favorite corner punch, very simple but I love it the punch punches out some tiny squares in which you can fit your panel. anyway I hope you like it

This is absolutely fabulous! Love all the elements - the gorgeous flowers, the sparkly butterflies, and the great corner punch! Love the blend of colours too!
