For Cathy's challenge, I knew I wanted to use the Building Block Card tutorial. Because my image is quite big, I used a piece of 12" card, and scored at 4" and 8". This gave me just enough width for this lovely WhipperSnapper image, which I stamped on watercolour paper, embossed and coloured with distress inks (antique linen, tumbled glass, chipped sapphire, tattered rose, pumice stone, walnut stain, wild honey, mustard seed, forest moss) and Twinkling H2Os. I masked it off and sponged the background, then stamped it with Gorgeous Grunge. Edged with a gold pen and green Liquid Pearls, and more gold pen around the very edge of the card front.
I used BG Aspen Frost papers inside, embossing the green panels for the letters, and adding punched holly to the other little panels. To finish off I stamped and embossed a sentiment from Verve.
