For July I am trying to make four cards with hitherto un-inked IO stamps. For this card, I stamped Home Tweet Home on Bristol board, and coloured it with Polychromos pencils, then sponged with blue and green.
Base - wrinkle-free distress on plain white card, which I then stamped with Cover-a-Card Greenery in Peeled Paint. Sponged the edges and stitched.
After adding the image panel, I cut some foliage from a scrap of Bazzill. The flowers were punched from a mis-stamped watercolour background, and the butterflies from an offcut of a page stamped with an IO lace stamp.

Oh, Sabrina, this is GORGEOUS! I was just about to comment on another card but saw this below. I just HAD to see it up close! Wow, I love your coloring, and this image is gorgeous! What a beautiful layout with the fabulous floral array, and the stitching finishes it off perfectly! Totally in love with this card! Hugs! (P. S. And good for you for using un-inked stamps - I sure have a lot of them!)

L O V E this card - for a couple different reasons!! First, the image is amazingly colored (that Bristol board must be terrific for pencils!) Love how you repurposed so much - from a scrap of Bazzill for the leaves, a mistamped BG for the flowers, and the butterflies from a piece of a page that was stamped with the Lace BG!! You must save every little scrap of everything on your table if it looks big enough to do ONE MORE THING with!! What an awesome card!!
Secondly, my DH used to build birdhouses of every size, shape and configuration, and then I would paint them up and "embellish" them to look like apartment houses for birds, an Irish bar, a school, a church, a seafood restaurant, an old gas station, a barn - you name it, we made it!! This brought back some more happy memories seeing how cleverly and creatively this image was drawn - with the bird bath, the mailbox, the plants and the outhouse - too cute!!
