Today's challenge....use a sketch from this year. I was fooling around yesterday for tomorrow's challenge. This was a digi printed on water color paper. First using a graphite pencil...shaded the areas, painted with reinkers. The next step was to do the broken glass technique. Finally sponged edges with pumice stone ink. It took me longer to clean up my table with all the embossing powder that scattered everywhere. TFL

Yeah, I am the first one to leave a comment on this lovely rose. And it's yellow. In Texas we are partial to yellow ones Such beautiful technique work on this.

Linda, this is beyond anything I have ever seen before! This is so well done, I would have sworn it was a digi from the net! WOW, the coloring, shading and background, phenomenal! I am in awe of your painting skills! Right into favorites!

So pretty, Linda! I love your big yellow rose & your shattered glass tech looks super. Been there, done that w/ the embossing powder...did it last week when I hit the spoon in the container. Sheesh! It went everywhere!
