I painted a sheet of mixed media paper in neutral tones a while ago and hadn't gotten around to using it.
Today I used some text tissue paper torn in strips and glued down with gesso. which added a bit of white to the background. I sprinkled some bister and brusho over the base colour and used some blue dylusion spray. The stenciling is in gold but with the blue background it is now has a green tint. I then stamped the background with the Jofy flower and the text stamps from stampit austrailia and Tim Holtz. I stamped the flower head and leaves again coloured them and using a stylus gave them some depth by curling the edges. I used the white pearl pen for the dots on the flower and the glass beads on the leaves. I used clear Wink of Stella on the centre of the flower and the stenciling to make it sparkle.
