The background is a triple printed gelli using white paint and various reinkers. I found that the reinkers do roll on easier with white paint and clean up is so much easier. I then stenciled the trees and colored these too fun birds from Tim Holtz with copics and pencils. The sentiment is computer generated. I mailed this a while ago and never posted. Thanks for stopping by.

Your crazy bird is oh so cute Nancy!! I didn't know these little guys would be as big as they are either. We can't fit many on a card. Love your trees and your sewing. Always fun!! :>)

Wow Nancy that is so cool. I've never tried Gelli printing after this I might have to try. What makes me love this is the muted colours of the BG, OMG I'm just in awe.

Loved watching you create these backgrounds (enjoyed making a few of my own too!) This particular one is really awesome and the addition of the tree branches brings it to life for your adorable Crazy Bird - the sentiment is a hoot and I can picture Kathleen busting up laughing when she opened it!! Thanks for teaching me how to do these with my gelli plate and stencils - too much fun!!

Oh my gosh Nancy this is fabulous. The background looks like a piece of embroided silk!!! Thanks for the tip about the paint, my Gelli prints still look like a CSI crime scene. The elegant background and the super funny crazy bird with terrific sentiment are topped off perfectly with your incredible signature stitching. Pinned and faved my friend.
