hi there,
Just another wonderfully inspiring site this week for the IC from Forzieri. Here is the gorgeous necklace that inspired my card: http://www.ca.forzieri.com/necklaces...z291511-014-00
My card is a one-layer; I masked the edges, embossed the burst then rubbed on Distress ink. When dry, I used my circle stencil and white ink to add the circles closer to the center of the burst. I splattered water over the top too, to mimic the look of stars.
thanks for looking,

A case where the card is better than the inspiration IMO, Karen. I know you call it "starburst"...but it looks EXACTLY like a "sparkler" lit at night. GORGEOUS(what else is new??) : ) Have a great week-end, mf.

What a stunning creation! It makes me think of beautiful fireworks. I love the added, subtle white circles inside the burst. BTW, I'm always in awe of one-layer cards done perfectly like this; I would surely end up with a smudge or a spot of leaked ink!

This is really Gorgeous!!! Really, really Beautiful! Well done! I do see the Starburst aspect of it, and Love that, but in the back of my mind I also picture a small group of children running through a field of dandelions and the puffs just bursting forth in their wake. That must be a latent memory of mine that just squeaked out. tfs
