This little gal has been to a beach picnic and has gathered some shells and is now enjoying a summer's day. The gingham base is from a box of note cards that I purchased at TJMaxx for a few dollars. Gingham, white eyelet and summer seem like "go-togethers" to me.

Beautiful card, Sallie! Love how soft & sweet your card is with the added seashells and the eyelet panel. Reminds me of my days as a little girl playing at the beach in Ocean City, MD. What a wonderful memory! TFS

For me, this is evocative of childhood days at the beaches of Lake Michigan (substitute smooth beach stones for the seashells!). As always, your watercoloring is spectacular, and I love the gingham and lace, so perfect with the soft coloring.
