Cloisonne and Pressed Wildflowers
Added to Favorite

Photo Details
Poster: Donna's Garden

I used the oval regalia die with silver cardstock to create the cloissone "frame". I mounted the frame on clear contact paper so that the decorative cut out areas were sticky. Then I used the die on various pastel-colored typing paper and moved the desired colored pieces to the frame using a sticky toothpick. If anyone knows an easier way to achieve this effect, let me know :-)

I glued the pressed wildflowers to oval cardstock and coated the entire oval with ModPodge twice. Then I mounted the oval with dimensionals.

You are incredibly patient! But the results are so beautiful, the work was worth it. I'm not sure I would stick with it long enough to finish, though so super kudos to you for seeing it through!
