The background was sponged on watercolor paper using Evergreen Bough, Iced Spruce and Chipped Sapphire distress inks. I then added some Perfect Pearls and a wee bit of water together and "picked it up" using a small brush, tapping it over the background to create the illusion of many tiny stars behind the die cut stars. I brushed on glass bead glitter gel over the die cut stars.
