I wasn't going to play today. I was just going to tinker around in the craft room and play with the sketch to see if I could make it a one layer besides the card base. I also wanted the chevrons to line up. I came back and forth all morning while getting other things done. I used the Celebrate die kind of as the piece that is horizontal across the middle. It isn't perfect but thought it was good enough to upload.
Several small sheets of dp were destroyed in the making of this card... lol

Irene, how is it you can take a complex sketch and make it appear clean & simple? Pretty bright colors (indicative of a celebration) and cutting the star from the purple and green panels took some thought on your part! Love this~

The use of so much chevron design could be dizzying, but you handled it so well, Irene, that it is most pleasing. Love the bright crayon-box colors and the simple die cut sentiment. The star is a great accent.

You are funny....several sheets....! I really like the way you cut out the sections of paper to fit in the purple chevrons!

I just love the mix of colours and great little added detail of the stars.
Thanks for playing along at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.
