Cathy has a really pretty sketch for us this week. I'm sort of a blue nut to begin with, but I'm going crazy over Lost Lagoon; such a beautiful color! I started with my dp from the DCSV mat pack splitting it into the 3 panels and backing it all with Espresso. I wrapped this with Lost Lagoon ribbon. I took my SU dp initially thinking to use the other side of it, but liked the look of this side with the words. I decided to flip the sketch after making this decision. I added narrow framing in Espresso. I diecut my fern after pulling my Espresso paper piece apart before diecutting to leave me with a thinner diecut with more flexibility. For my shaped piece, I diecut my flower with 2 layers in sheet music and the other in Espresso, sponging all these and popping the flower over my fern. I rolled some of my leaves for more dimension. Each of my dp pieces is sponged along the edges with Espresso.
