Jenn's challenge this week is to look into my window.
Little Matilda here is looking longingly into her older sister Charlotte's bedroom window as she can see Charlotte's new ballet dress hanging. It is the day of the big end of year concert and Matilda wishes she, too, did ballet like her sister!
I am a mother of boys so I don't quite know why my mind went to this theme although, as a little girl, I always dreamed of being in a ballet and wearing the beautiful dresses and perhaps that is why I bought this set of 3D stickers some time ago! The rest of the card is pretty self explanatory.
As you know, it is Winter here in Australia but still quite mild temperatures, around 16oC today. My DH and I are retired and one thing we love to do is go on long walks by the harbour and find a good cafe for a coffee as our reward afterwards!
TFL!

Oh Sue, thanks for sharing the story of Matilda and her yearning for the ballet dress. I kind of remember wishing for that too when I was young. You did an awesome job with your window, and I love the little girl and her trike looking in. It really gets your imagination going. Thanks for reminding us too that it is winter in Australia. I'm glad you and your husband are able to get out and walk. Hugs! :>)

Fantastic scene, Sue! A walk along the harbor sound wonderful. I can just imagine the longing little Matilda is feeling - sometimes it's difficult to be the youngest.

Oh wow, this is so cute!!! I love your window with the dress inside. Your little girl looks like she is daydreaming about her mommy buying her a dress like that so she can dress like a princess!

Oh my gosh, how terrific is this. I don't know where to start, I love the vintage feel and Kaiser DP brick wall paper with the window. The scene inside and outside the window is fabulous. Love your story too my friend.

That window certainly opens onto another world! Your little girl stands in for a lot of us apparently! Love the little scene you have created. Wonderful use of DP and stickers. TFS
