This is a little "out there," but it is actually a combined effort between my friend and me.
Okay...the story: She was playing around with Looks Like Spring and created the multi-colored flower and the flowered background piece. She couldn't figure out what to do with it once it was done. So then she passed it on to me and told me to "fix" it or do whatever I wanted to.
After messing with it for a while, this is the end result. I layered the flower punches and attached with the brad and took some leftover Summer Sun scraps that were already stamped with Canvas and placed it under the flower. If you look closely, the Old Olive piece under the flower is painted with yellow Twinkling H2Os to give a little sheen.
Then framed the flower with other Summer Sun/Canvas scraps. Linen was used on the very bottom piece for a little extra texture.
All in all, I think it turned out pretty cute. The flowers on the Summer Sun background look like red, but they are actually Pink Passion.
And last but not least, it really is not crooked...darn scanners!!
