We are meeting someone new as today's FS, at least I was unfamiliar with Caryn, glitter me silly. You have many pretty cards in your gallery, but I chose 4 Bookmarks to case. I knew as soon as I saw these what I wanted to do.
Many thanks to Ann, dockside, for sending me this image after I commented on a card by Nancy, stiz2003. I colored my girly turtle with chalks & fussy cut. I carefully went around the edges with my black marker so you'd think I was a super fussy cutter!! Then I spent what seemed like hours die cutting the letters. I used an oval to arch reading. The gray paper is just supporting the bookmark. I used mini glue dots behind the floss so it will stay in place. I just remembered I was going to put glossy accents on the eyes! This was a pre-cut bookmark I got from our LSS.
Caryn, enjoy your time in the spotlight & I hope you like all the cards made in your honor.
Thanks for stopping by.

Reading definitely is fun -- one of my favorite pastimes! And your cute little turtle looks like he's got a lot of fun waiting for him in all those books. Good job!
