I once grew blue poppies from seed and had them for about three years in the garden - and then they disappeared. Some time I'll try them again, they were such a beautiful vivid blue, which I tried to capture with my clean treatment of this image. Stamped and embossed the image on Bristoal board, coloured with Inktense pencils. It's layered on black card after distressing the edges. I made 3 faux brads with a scrap of the red card, sprinkling some red glitter over the Glossy Accents. The base was simply embossed with chevron ef, then I sponged the edges with Versamark and embossed with gold.

Another beauty, Sabrina. The blue poppies are so lovely... one of my favorite shades of blue. Great idea to make your own brads. You truely are the most creative person I know. The gold accents on this look great.

Fake brads and Beautiful Blue Poppies, against the red and gold - this is outstanding - love how you embossed the background and then added the red "brads" with the gold cord to carry the colors throughout. Top notch, Sabrina - I agree with Francie - you are SO VERY CREATIVE, and try so many cool techniques!!!

I looked and looked to find Meconopsis for my garden until I realized they weren't to be found because they won't survive here. :-( I love them ...and yours! Beautiful contrast between the blue and the black and gold! Love the gold inked edges of that embossing folder. TFS

I love poppies and I love your card. I have way too many orange poppies and have always wished for blue, but it may be too warm here. They ARE gorgeous and you did well. The image is wonderful.

Wow! Just gorgeous, Sabrina. I love those blue poppies and the chevron folder is pretty, too. What a sweet bow.
