I have a lot of favorite tools but right now one of my favorites is my silicone mat that I use when watercoloring and playing with ink - it sure makes clean up easier and has saved me from the evil stink eye hubby gives me when I use inks and paint on the kitchen counter! I also love, love, love my Martha Stewart Small Hydrangea Punch - I use it more than any other punch or die. It hides mistakes and add glam every time you use it.
I made my bg by sprinkling some Brushos on my silicone sheet, spraying them with water and then smashing my paper into the mixture. Then I sprayed my paper with some water and blotted at the colors with a paper towel. After it dried, I stamped the Lines O'Plenty bg stamp with Versamark and used some white ep. Fun little birthday card and it didn't take much time.
Hugz!!

LOVE your background of brushos ... such pretty colours. And that background stamp really pops over top. Martha's hydrangea punch is my favourite punch too! You've probably noticed I use it A LOT!! xx

Really a great looking card using some of your favorite tools, Nancy. The bg is spectacular with the Brushos and embossed design and I love how you did the flowers with the same paper that you created.
