This cute little rose bud bouquet was designed by 8-year-old Marina for her teacher. She was playing with my scallop punch, and wound these little rosebuds together and stuck them tight with a glue spot. We snipped the end to fit it into the end of a straw left over from the "Pinwheel Party" Paper Pumpkin kit, and fastened with another glue dot. We punched out little calyxes with the Petite Petals punch, and sniped a little x in the center to slide the straw through. No glue dot was needed in this step. One last glue dot stuck the little bow to the stem. Marina was delighted with her little bouquet, and can't wait to give it to her teacher as a year-end thank you. She plans to put them in a little jar, using marbles or rice to hold the flowers in place.
