I do love the Adventure Awaits stamp set and will be pouting when it goes away soon. I think I would have liked this card better if I could have used more colors, but I was working on the Ways to Use It challenge for today to only use red and white on a card. It's harder than it sounds because you just want to put something yellow or black on there to relieve all that red. I compromised by adding a tiny bit of black (the rules said we could) and some sponging and Cherry Cobbler--which IS a red!
Also, taking the photo at night gave it a great vintage feel, so I actually like the photo better than the actual real-life card.
Take off the DAD and add GRAD or a graduation hat for a grad card. ...or add an open book to make it a back to school or off to college card...also to thank a teacher. If I wanted it to be for a teacher, the focal piece would definitely be a chalkboard.

LOL at the night photo giving it a vintage feel. I bet the card in real life looks as good as it does here. I found it really hard with the two colour restriction - it was only when I decided to use the challenge to make Anne's birthday card that it really started to come together for me.

Now that's really cool! I of course love all the RED, but I can see where you might want to add another color (not me, personally!). LOL!
