Mary gave us the fun challenge to use the soon to be retired SU In Colors for today's color challenge. The challenge was to use 2 or more of the colors - I chose Strawberry Slush, Crisp Cantaloupe and Pistachio Pudding.
This card took FOREVER to make. I usually make much simpler cards and don't use that many die cuts, but I wanted to try last week's sketch (such a nice, versatile sketch), and this is what I came up with for the colors. I sponged some Colorbox chalk ink in Warm Green onto the leaves because I just can't really see that Pistachio shade as a green for foliage, so I cheated a little! I used a stylus and mouse pad to add some veining to the leaves.
Dessert was to use sequins and/or twine. I don't have any sequins so I die cut some small circles and use my piercing tool to put holes in the centers. Thanks for taking a look!

Beautiful card! I really like the warm tones you used for your beautiful flowers! Using white under your flowers really makes them pop. Great use of the sketch too. TFS

This pretty card was worth all the effort, Claudia. I loved that layout, and filled with all those die cut flowers....WOW! Well done, my friend!
