I used 2 colors of Pitt Artist Pens and smashed to make center of background, edges were daubed with Tim Holtz Destress Antique photo. The butterflies were stamped in Timber Brown and Pumpkin. It still needed a little something and the blue gems seemed just right.

I love the one orange butterfly in with the darker ones, Elizabeth. It adds to the message of hope that butterflies seem to bring. The background turned out so well, too - when I try that mine just looks a total mess and I've almost given up; then I see it working for other people and I decide that I am the problem!
