F4A270 Mad for Gingham
MIX117 Dragon Fire
QFTD259 Ann aka annsforte3
I did my background last night at midnight because I could not sleep, but it worked out for today's challenge. I burnt the background of my tree with the BBQ lighter for the burnt edges on the tree.
I picked this card of Ann's IC489, Sand and Sea by annsforte3 at Splitcoaststampers
I love her background and her trees - the movement in her card is wonderful. I changed the kind of trees, but I think my background has movement.
I added the gingham ribbon, sequins and the sentiment die to finish. Thanks for looking...
Tools: Impression Obsession Bare Tree, Small Birds and Greetings dies.

I can really see the wind swirling those birds around! Fantastic background! I love the shadowing you gave your tree with the BBQ lighter ...I'm sure I would have incinerated mine if I tried it! It looks like an interesting technique though...hmmm. :-) Love your card!

Your flame treatment is perfect on that tree. I wouldn't have thought to do that, and I love the sky background. Thanks so much for playing the challenge!

Oh wow! this is an awesome piece of art! The bg is gorgeous and I love the way the colour fades into the pale green at the bottom. Cool charring of the tree trunk.
