A card for my friend Melissa who is in a sewing contest tomorrow at a craft fair. This is just to tell her to 'Break a leg', or don't you say that for this occasion? I wanted to try the featured fun fold in today's Weekly Inkling. This pinwheel fun fold is really quite easy, and it was also fun. I was also inspired by the following card from our Queen for the Day #259 gallery. SC531, Shimmery Silver leaves by annsforte3 at Splitcoaststampers
I liked the diagonal lines on Ann's card and also the big flower. My flower is smaller and my card is a special fold, so it's quite different, but none the less inspired.

What a cool card Ina! I'm sure your friend will appreicate it. I really like the floral border and the inside floral part, too. Cute sewing machine charm, too..perhaps you can tell her to bust a bobbin..lol

Beautiful card for your friend to wish her luck at the sewing competition. If she sews as well as you create card, there's no doubt who the winner will be, Ina! : ) Not only a lovely and unusual format, but beautiful choice of DP to create this beauty.
