CC527 - This project took me two days due to visiting grandchildren and the fact that I had to research shabby chic on Pinterest. I like the look of it, but I am not a spontaneous creator of it...perhaps that will soon change.
I sponged various distress inks (browns, and a little rusty hinge) then stamped the script. Then, I used the CB Feather Illusions ef and clear heat embossed that. I used green and pink acrylic paints for the resist, wasn't satisfied (too much green and the rusty hinge was a no-no), so I used gelatos to tone down and get more pink. Added flourish die cuts and primas; lace ribbon beneath top note panel. Stamped sentiment, punched and sponged edges with pirouette pink, and added pearls. The bg card base looked very naked so I stenciled in the dots from the MB Disperse stencil with Wild Wasabi.

Wow and wow, this is gorgeous. I love the inside border. Great color combo. I love the outside frame dies, and the flourishes are perfect. Great card. Tfs.

It may not be your "normal" style but you've done great with it! Love the softness of your dp with the stenciling and the pretty diecut accents. The sentiment you chose pairs so well with the feel of the card!
